POV Budapest

At POV Budapest’s invitation-only poster exhibition, the task was to articulate the city’s identity under the slogan “Making Sense.” Our studio’s founder, David Barath, designed a poster that captures the two main parts of the city—Buda and Pest—and the way their inhabitants, while markedly different in character and lifestyle, remain interconnected at several points.

Our studio's founder, David Barath, designed a poster that captures Budapest's two main parts—Buda and Pest. At the heart of the design is the idea that while the inhabitants of these two districts differ markedly in character and lifestyle, they remain closely interconnected in several ways. The poster visually expresses this duality—both the differences and the points of connection between the two sides. The goal was to illustrate how these two distinct areas ultimately come together to form one unified, living capital city.
