CODE SHOWROOM - Budapest / Vancouver

Code stands as one of Hungary's largest and most distinguished interior design showrooms, representing renowned premium and luxury furniture brands such as Cassina, B&B Italia, Arclinea, Minotti and many more. With nearly two decades of operation in both Budapest and Vancouver, the company has become a key player in the design landscape. In 2014, we were entrusted with designing the logo and visual identity for the two distinct businesses, then operating under the name Code Showroom.

In 2020, as the Budapest showroom relocated to a new, elegant, and prestigious venue, the company's range of services evolved. The focus expanded beyond retail to include a stronger emphasis on interior design services, prompting a subtle yet necessary update to the logo and visual identity.

As the brand had grown significantly in recognition, the 'showroom' suffix was removed from both the name and the logo. The lettering was repositioned from the center to the bottom right corner of the surface, evoking the feel of a signature that embodies the company’s reliability and authenticity.

For the signage, we introduced brass accents to the elegant black-and-white logo, a nod to the material’s current prominence in interior design and its association with premium quality.

The typography was refined and applied to select elements, rotated at the right angle to enhance its visual impact.
The word 'showroom' was reappropriated as the title for the brand’s own publication, marking a new chapter in its evolution.

We applied a similar approach to the packaging materials. On the paper bags, the logo is placed in the bottom right corner in a smaller size. In other instances, such as on the adhesive tapes used in the packaging, we created a continuous pattern by arranging the logo in a sequence.
